Riza Quli Khan Nizam al-Saltanah writes to his daughter, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, telling her: that he has been very busy and did not have a chance to write earlier, that his resignation was not approved, and that he is arranging for Khanum, Ma‘sumah Khanum, Taqi, and Mahmud to go to Hamadan from Tehran by the end of the month to stay with Zahra Sultan and Huma for a few days, after which they could all join him in Burujird.
